Online Tajweed Classes

Tajweed is the difference between reading the Quran and reciting it properly. These lessons focus on how each letter is produced and how the rules apply while you recite, with a teacher listening and correcting every session.

What lessons usually include

  • Makharij — where each letter is formed in the mouth and throat
  • Distinguishing letters that sound similar to an untrained ear
  • Rules of noon saakin, meem saakin and idghaam
  • Lengthening (madd) and stopping (waqf)
  • Reciting aloud every class so errors are caught early

Who it's for

Students who can already read the Quran but want their recitation corrected and refined.

How the class runs

30-minute private lessons, 5 days a week, taught in English online via Zoom or Google Meet. You can request a male or female teacher, subject to availability. Read more about how we teach.
