Every lesson is 30 minutes, one-to-one with your teacher, held 5 days per week at a time that suits both of you.

How much does this course cost?

This course runs on the Quran Reading Classes plan, currently CAD $35 per month (regular CAD $50). New students take 3 trial classes before any payment.

Can I request a male or female teacher?

Yes. Both male and female teachers are available, and you can state a preference when you enquire, subject to availability.

What do I need to join a class?

Classes are held online via Zoom or Google Meet. You need an internet connection and a suitable device. Teachers can share materials on screen, and you are welcome to use your own Quran or Qaida.

Online Quran Reading Classes (Nazra)

Nazra is where most students begin. You learn to read the Arabic script accurately and out loud, starting from individual letters and building towards reading full passages of the Quran with confidence.

What lessons usually include

Recognising and pronouncing the Arabic letters from Alif-Ba-Ta
Joining letters and reading short words
Harakat, sukoon and madd as they come up in reading
Reading aloud with the teacher correcting in the moment
Basic Tajweed introduced gradually alongside reading

Who it's for

Complete beginners of any age, and children sitting their first structured Quran lessons.
